Woman in hospital after being DRUGGED and RAPED by known pervert

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to an arrest in a sexual assault investigation.

On Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at approximately 4 a.m., a 22 year-old woman was walking in the Yonge Street and College Street area.

It is alleged that:

- a man approached the woman and led her to a nearby vehicle

- the man sexually assaulted the woman in the vehicle

- the woman sustained serious injuries

On Thursday, October 29, 2020, Alexander Driscoll, 40, of Toronto was arrested. He is charged with:

1. Aggravated Sexual Assault
2. Administering Noxious Thing
3. Sexual Assault with Choking
4. Forcible Confinement

He is to appear in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, October 31, 2020.

He is described as 5’8″ to 5’9″, stocky build, shoulder-length brown hair, unshaven, and dark rimmed prescription glasses.

Investigators are asking anyone with any information to contact police.
